 After a successful career with a major packaging distributor in the Los Angeles area, Rich Burns decided to venture out on his own. In 1997 he founded Integrated Packaging Systems, Inc. Rich's vast experience in industrial packaging, inventory management and packaging design gave him the tools to establish Integrated Packaging Systems as a total packaging solutions partner. In March 1999, Integrated acquired Para B Ltd, Santa Fe Springs, CA. Para B was not only a supplier, but also a competitor. The acquisition allowed a marriage of the two companies. This marriage has fueled growth and a solid reputation as a provider of value added service. While Para B's service-oriented culture remains, IPS strives to be a complete industrial packaging solutions provider.
